CHELMSFORD, MA — On April 7 at approximately 11:49 a.m., officers from the Chelmsford Police Department, along with the Chelmsford Fire Department and Pridestar Trinity EMS, were dispatched to a Chelmsford residence for a report of a woman in active labor.
First responders arrived within minutes and quickly assessed the situation as contractions intensified. Recognizing that there was not enough time for transport, crews prepared for an on-scene delivery. At approximately 12:03 p.m., a healthy baby girl was safely delivered at the home.
Both mother and baby are doing well.

The Chelmsford Police Department commends all responders for their quick actions and teamwork in ensuring a safe delivery.
