Engagement and Wellness
The Community Engagement and Wellness unit is led by Sergeant Dan Goguen. In addition to Sgt. Goguen, a full-time clinician Rachel Beers is assigned to the unit. Clinician Beers has been with the department for 3 years. Sgt. Goguen and Clinician Beers conduct follow up and co-respond to calls for individuals in crisis, and also have access to resources for those who are less fortunate. Officer Aidan Gillis is also assigned to this unit as a community engagement and social media Officer. Officer Gillis has organized many presentations with various groups in town.
