Animal Control

In his role as the Animal Control Officer (ACO) for the Chelmsford Police Department, Mark Cianci is primarily responsible for responding to calls and complaints related to stray or aggressive animals. His duties extend to investigating cases involving animal cruelty or neglect and rescuing distressed animals.

ACO Cianci is also actively involved in educating the public about responsible pet ownership and licensing requirements. Beyond these responsibilities, he manages the dog pound, overseeing the care of resident animals and working to find suitable homes for them in cases where owners cannot be located.
