On Monday, May 6, 2024, Officer Jake Hartshorn was sworn in during a ceremony held at the Chelmsford Police Department Community Room. Among those present were department members, town representatives, as well as family and friends. Jake graduated from the Northern Essex Police Academy May 3rd, which spanned 26 weeks of intense preparation.
