On January 28, 2025, at approximately 12:18 PM, Chelmsford Police, Chelmsford Fire, and Pridestar Trinity EMS responded to a call for a woman in labor at a residence in Chelmsford.
Chelmsford dispatchers Lisa Demers and Gina DiPietro provided critical guidance to the caller over the phone prior to the arrival of emergency personnel. Shortly thereafter, Chelmsford Police Officers Riley O’Keefe and Brian Ubele, along with Chelmsford Firefighters Jason Turner, Patrick Daley, and Michael Young, arrived on the scene and provided pre-delivery assistance.
Pridestar Trinity EMS arrived moments later, taking over care of the mother. In a heartwarming outcome, a healthy baby girl was delivered at home by first responders. Both mother and child were transported to a local hospital and are reported to be doing well.
Congratulations to the family on their new addition!
