Chelmsford, MA – The Chelmsford Police Department is pleased to announce that, through our participation in the Pink Patch Project, we raised $1,030 to support breast cancer research and treatment. The funds were generated through the sale of our limited-edition pink police patches, priced at $10 each, with all proceeds directed to the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
The Pink Patch Project is a national initiative where law enforcement agencies sell pink versions of their department patches in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The project aims to increase awareness about breast cancer, emphasize the importance of early detection, support individuals impacted by the disease, and contribute to ongoing research efforts.
Community members showed their support by purchasing patches both online and directly from the Chelmsford Police Department. We extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to this important cause. Together, we are making strides in the fight against breast cancer.
