Chelmsford, MA –The Chelmsford Police Department is delighted to announce the resounding success of our “Dunk a Cop – Soak the Shield” event, held on July 3rd. We are proud to share that over $2,000 was raised during this spirited community event.
Patrons at the annual Country Fair enthusiastically participated in the event, seizing the opportunity to dunk a cop in a tank generously provided by Christopher’s Towing. The event was not only a highlight of the fair but also a significant fundraiser for a noble cause.
All funds raised have been donated to Cops for Kids with Cancer, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization dedicated to raising funds to support families of children battling cancer, with the aim of improving their quality of life.
