Engagement and Wellness
The Community Engagement and Wellness Unit is led by Sergeant Kenny Meehan, who conducts follow-ups and co-responds to calls involving individuals in crisis, while also connecting residents in need with vital resources. Clinician Hannah Gilbert responds alongside Sgt. Meehan as the unit’s co-response clinician for Chelmsford and Tyngsborough, providing on-scene behavioral health support, crisis intervention, and follow-up care. Officer Aidan Gillis, assigned as the Community Engagement and Social Media Officer, expands the unit’s outreach by organizing presentations and educational programs with community groups throughout town.
