The following are road closures and detours for the July 3rd and July 4th Independence Day Celebration
– Academy Street will be closed to all traffic, and no parking on both sides of the street from 8:00 AM Wednesday July 3rd through Thursday July 4th until approximately 2:00 PM
-North Road between Fletcher Street and Littleton Road will be closed to all traffic, and no parking both sides of the street from 5:00 PM – 9:30 PM Wednesday July 3rd for the County Fair
-Upper and lower parts of Dalton Road will be closed at North Road to all traffic starting at 8:00 AM Thursday July 4th
-North Road from the Drum Hill Rotary to Chelmsford Center, Central Square, Littleton Road at Chelmsford Center, Chelmsford Street from Central Square to Fletcher Street, and Boston Road at Summer Street will all be CLOSED starting at 9:00 AM on Thursday July 4th
-Parkhurst Road will be closed at approximately 8:30 AM, Tuesday July 4th for the parade and annual road race
-Wilson Street at Chelmsford Street and Billerica Road will be closed at 9:00 AM Thursday July 4th
-Residents living at 255 North Road will be allowed to take a right out of 255 North Road. Residents can also return to 255 North Road using the rotary. Expect significant delays.
Road Closures will remain in effect until crowds have dispersed and cleanup and breakdown are safely completed.
