Safe Watch Program

Safe Watch Program

The Chelmsford Police Department is dedicated to ensuring the safety of our residents. The Safe Watch initiative is a complimentary and voluntary program crafted to assist First Responders in swiftly accessing vital information when dealing with individuals with disabilities. It aims to aid members of our community who may encounter challenges communicating with First Responders or may wander away from home occasionally. Those who could benefit from this program include individuals with Autism, Dementia, Alzheimer’s, Down syndrome, hard of hearing, seniors, or anyone with special needs. We encourage individuals or their responsible family members to participate in this program by completing the form provided below and keeping it updated with CPD as needed.

Upon completion of the form, an officer will contact the provided email address to verify the submitted details. If you believe that an individual who tends to wander could benefit from a GPS tracking bracelet program called Safety Net, please reach out to Officer Riley O’Keefe at rokeefe@ChelmsfordMA.gov.

Please download and complete the form and we will be with you in a timely manner.
This form should only be used for The Safe Watch Program. Please email Officer O’Keefe for inquiries about Safety Net.
